Rockery with Falls
The first scenic spot in Huanzhou. Numerous Taihu artificial hill stones are piled up, making a masterpiece of gardening in a large variety of forms. Some resemble flying hawks, some apes howling while some looking like fowls resting or beasts standing. At the top of the artificial hill, falls drop directly into a pool.

Stone of A Boy Worshiping Goddess of Mercy
Both the stone of boy and that of the goddess are precious fantastic Taihu rock and are said to be a relic left behind by the Northern Song Dynasty. They bear the vivid resemblance of a boy worshiping Goddess of Mercy. The stone is 6.3 meters’ high, 0.9 meter’s wide and of fine quality, with all the typical features of Taihu rock: slender, holy, leaky and wrinkled.

Children’s Paradise
Initially set up in 1952, this children’s paradise is the first and the most influential one in Nanjing. In recent years, many new electrical toy equipments have been added such as jumpers, children’s electrically operated motor cars, walking animals, turning dragons and pirates’ boats and so on.


Guo Pu Mound
Guo Pu Mound is the clothing tomb of Guo Pu --- a famous writer and scientist as well in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, in which his clothes and a cap were buried. It was listed as a cultural relic under municipal protection in 1992. Guo Pu was from Wenxi, Shanxi. Well-learned and versatile, he was good at the art of fortune-telling and yin and yang. In 322 A.D., when Wang Dun, a general in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, conspired against the state, Guo Pu simply told the general: 揇oomed? Shamed into fury, Wang Dun killed Guo Pu. Admiring him for his sense of justice, Emperor Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty, issued an imperial edict that a pavilion of imperial decree be built over the mound so that people could pay their homage.

Children’s Amusement Center
Presented by the American city---St. Louis in May 1994, it is mainly made up of slides, wooden bridges, climbing stairs, sliding wheels and rolls and things like that. It is divided into four parts: entertainment, direct 2000, fun seeker and toybricks, combining functions as sports, entertainment and learning into one.

Lama Temple, Nuona Pagoda
Initially built in 1937. Lama temple is a 3-room hall facing the south with a single eave. It is of simple and ancient style. The 9-storied Nuona pagoda with six sides was built in Tang and Song style. ?Pagoda Inscription of Master Pu Yiu?written by Ju Zheng, a founding member of Guomindang, was inscribed at the four bottom sides. Both the temple and the pagoda were built in honor of Master Nuona(1865-1936).

Garden of Chinese Rose
China is the birth place of Chinese rose. Several thousand Chinese roses are planted with a dozen variety of species and with various colors as well. Some of the Chinese roses can bloom in three seasons. Among the most precious are Huanheping(yellow peace), Yueyuehong( red every month), Changchunhua(ever-spring flower), Douxuehong(red against snow) and so on. In the center of the garden stands a 200-year-old ginkgo tree, one of the ancient trees protected by the municipal government of Nanjing.

Lotus Pond
This scenic spot covers a constructive area of 8000 square meters. The pond is dotted with a few lotus flowers and sleeping water lilies. Because of the clever arrangement of rockeries, the banks wind in a natural way. Ten thousand Japanese red carps swim freely and happily in the pond together with some rare half-scale De carps, scaleless Pi carps. These make up of an exclusive ecological scenic spot of Xuanwu Lake.

Mi Fu Worshiping a Stone
Mi Fu(1051-1107), a well-known painter and calligrapher of the Song Dynasty, had an eccentric liking for fantastic stones. Legend has it that Mi Fu would do obeisance to a wonderful stone whenever he came into view of one. The scenery is made up of three pieces of giant natural stone among which, the heaviest one weighs 36 tons and is 8 meters?high, 4.2 meters?wide and 0.7 meter抯 thick. It is indeed rare in Nanjing.

Lotus Square
Covering an area of 5000 m2 with accommodations for 3000 people, it bears the form of lotus and its leaves. The 12-metre-high statue --- Lotus Fairy together with 4 lovely lotus angels consists of the signal sign of the square. With the integration of musical fountain, laser and water-screened movie, it serves as a large well-assorted performance area.
